“Undoing”

Painted while listening to Lee Noble’s 2013 album “Ruiner.” Because I have synesthesia, most sounds, including music, invoke strong colors and shapes in my mind. I used the sounds and shapes invoked by that album to paint this image. When the painting was complete I realized that it looked like a person sitting with a guitar, which I never intended.
